Crystal's Ticklish Boast"You know what?" Crystal said, grinning through a veil of lightning blue hair.
"What?" Hayley asked, bemused.
"I've been thinking."
"As have I," said Hayley. "I've been really wondering why I always end up like this whenever we play your Pokémon games."
Crystal giggled. "Silly, Hayley," she said. "You know why you end up like this."
Crystal and her friend Hayley were locked away in Crystal's dimly lit bedroom. The lamps were on and the curtains were closed. Food and drink had been had and an intense game-playing battle had been fought with the inevitable conclusion having been reached. After which, all that had remained to do was
Just Give Me Your Smile (Male!Reader / America) P1
Sitting in one of the church’s pews, I spent a large portion inside the church just
staring off into a distant gaze. It is silent in the church, just the way I like it. The few people around me are mainly in the middle of their own deep silent prayers with their face scrunch in deep concentration.
I always used to wonder that the people here are praying about every time I came here in this church for the mass, sometimes alone and sometimes with my parents. I closed my eyes. But now, it doesn’t really matter anymore…
Not long ago, my parents… passed away.
Those memories… it still continues to haunt me. It k
Just Give Me Your Smile (Male!Reader / America) P3
We made it in time at the McDonalds. Apparently, I was wrong. Instead of letting the fast-food restaurant be closed soon, everything turns out to be quite opposite. Everyone here is still active and wide awake, as if time didn’t matter to them. I take another relook at my watch to see that it is indeed twelve in the midnight. For a second I thought my eyes deceive me, but as I take another look again, everything is running as normal as it is like in the daytime. There are even kids playing at the kids’ playground room.
By the time it is our turn to choose our order, I was surprise to see the nice stranger ordering ten hamburgers,
Stoic's Nightmare WARNING! Story contains extreem gore, and sorrow!Stoic saw Toothless shoot a fireball into the Green Death's mouth at the last second, causing a huge fireball to erupt....Moments later Stoic found Toothless.
Toothless? Stoic whispered.
Toothless was eerily still.
Reaching down, Stoic put his hand to the creature's muzzle.
No! Stoic yelled, drawing his hand back.
No...yuh...you can't be...dead!?
Falling to his knee's Stoic reached out and lifted Toothless's wing only to find rubble amongst the cuts and bruises.
Getting up, Stoic began to search for Hiccup frantically.
RyRy: Mrs Harris
The woman in the kitchen gave a small jump, as if she had forgotten that there was a party of people for her in the next room. She turned to give him a warm smile. “Why Ryan, I didn’t realize you were there. Can I get you something? Are you hungry?”
Ryan shook his head. If anything, he should be reminding her and Rylie to eat. Rylie herself had been so silent, Ryan wasn’t sure if she had a bite.
“Someone was asking for you,” he said curtly.
“Who was it, dear?”
“I’m... not sure.” To him, everyone at the gathering looked the same. Same frowns
VexedVexed. That was exactly the word for how Masaki felt at the moment. Incredibly vexed. Frustrated with Eita, frustrated with Arioch, and most of all frustrated with himself. He paced his house irritably before finally settling down on a sofa with a cup of tea and trying to work out what on earth had made this day go so... so.. difficult.
Eita's words still burned in his mind. His student had called him out on his playing games with Arioch's feelings. The younger male's words had cut right through him and at first he'd been shocked to silence. Simply staring back at Eita. In disbelief that Eita was being so blunt, and in disbelief that the young man had seen through his wall that clearly. He didn't like it and it had put him on the defensive, getting riled. Words had gotten heated and Eita had actually taken a swing at him. That attack turning into a brief scuffle between master and student and ended with Masaki pinning Eita.
"You've gotta quit playing these games! It's not good for him
Oro ValleyThis is when the sun comes up, she thinks. The clouds have lightened, a little; the heavy black that’d covered the sky moments before has succumbed to a lulling gray.
Her hands are white like soap, like her mother’s, save for under the fingernails. She taps them on the top of the steering wheel in an effort to stay awake. There’s nothing to run into, though, so she lets her eyelids slip every now and then. The road is monotonously long, straight, empty, and American, all things E.B. has never been familiar with.
Soon, she thinks, and her eyes flick over to the gas meter. The marker’s been tickling that empty line for
ComplicationsWhen I'm out in public, I always get asked a ridiculous question by a stranger or a store employee. "Is he your brother?" The person, with a disgusted face would say and point to an older teenager who is doing something childish, like playing with the swimming noodles and attempting to do cartwheels.
With a smile across my face, I realize that it's hard to explain what the foolish teen is to me, so I simply say with a sigh, "It's complicated."
ForgottenThe young boy, with deep chocolate brown hair would sit in his room. His slightly swollen hazel eyes tired from lack of sleep. He'd slide his slender fingers through his hair, pushing it out of his small face. He'd tap his foot slightly on the carpet as she shifted in his seat. His paper still white and unused, while his pencil was worn on the eraser, from his habit of chewing on it to calm his nerves. His eyes filled with sorrow as he stares at the white sheet and a heavy sigh slipped from his pale lips
"Write about your life…" he mouths and rolled his eyes before dropping his other hand onto the desk and tilting his chair back a bit
Whit is it?The question was starling. Ealfric had never expected anyone to ever ask it of him. But Branwen had. Wrapped up in his favorite sweater, the girl had toddled from her bedroom into the dark room he kept his work in. Bleary eyed and half awoken from her midday nap.
"Paw.." She questioned with a sleepy yawn. "Whit dae 'Luve' mean?"
It was a difficult one for him to answer. The blond had only just began to feel it himself. Turning from his work table, littered with broken leaves, he picked the child up and carried her to the chair in the corner.
When she started to fidget impatiently, he opened his mouth to buy himslef a few more seconds to think
Am I a Good Ninja? When Mikey is reprimanded for something he can't help, he thinks he is unloved.
The Turtles - 7 years old
"Knees higher on the kick Leonardo! Donatello, kick harder. Raphael, let your moves flow. Do not let your body become rigid. Michelangelo, remember to spin." Splinter said as his sons tried to perfect the swinging back kick.
Mikey yelped again, falling on his shell whenever he tried to spin. He knew he needed to spin to give power for the upcoming kick. Sensei had done it several times to show the turtles. The funny thing was that Mikey could do it in his head. He understood the steps to complete the kata, it just didn't seem to transl
Monster Lititure - Journalism assignmentEntering the Journalism classroom, X was hardly dismayed to see that there were no students other than himself. He started to look around for a clock of some sort to tell him what time it was. He had left the gymnasium perhaps a little too early, considering that the coach gave him ten minutes to change into his regular clothing. The vampire did not think himself to have taken too long or too quickly for his dressing and quick shower.
Spotting the clock, there was still another ten minutes until his next class. Perhaps he had rushed after all.
Taking a seat near the middle of the empty classroom, he realized with a jolt that it was not as l
Contest Short Story: A Trip to Dad'sI sit there, under the sink, reading a novel I've read thousands of times. His apartment is a mess, as always, but he just sits there and sleeps. As always. I was sad, and scared, I just wanted to go home, but now I'm just pissed. So naturally, I walk into his bedroom to tell my hard-headed father off.
“Dad,” I say.
“Go away, I'm sleeping.”
I sigh and gather my courage. “You are always sleeping! You never get up!” He's up now.
“What do you want me to do? I'm tired, and I have to work and you don't, so shut up!”
“You hardly work five hours a day! And you don't have time to clean
Your Health Comes First - Vernon and Azelea
Vernon poked his head in the master bedroom. He threw the door open when he didn't see his wife in the bed. Where could she have gone with a high fever and weak muscles? He stepped into the room and checked the bathroom and the closet. Azelea wasn't there either. Vernon left the bedroom and checked the nursery, but of course she wasn't in there. They hadn't had a baby in about ten years.
Next, he checked the children's bedrooms and bathrooms. Vernon checked the art room, the music room, even the laundry room. He ventured to the kitchen and frowned when his wife was not there. But then the obvious location hit him, and Vernon made a beeline for the back door that opened out to the gardens.
There she was. Tucked between two rows of yellow tulips, pulling out weeds. Her auburn hair was pulled back in a braid, her skin was pale, and her palms were red and raw from working. H
